Research Doctorate: FAQ

I also would like to know if this degree is recognised by the other Universities
for the purpose of appointments.

We are confident that many  universities and companies will recognize the degree, but we cannot guarantee it. Pls. keep in mind that CU is not accredited and does NOT seek accreditation. So far we have not gotten any complaints about degrees awarded by CU.

I would like to participate in the Research Doctorate program.

I do not technically meet your entrance requirements. However, I believe I
can make a case that my situation is rather unique. Thus, I would request
that you waive, in my case, the traditional requirements.

I grew up within the academic world -- my parents both teachers, my father
eventually a college president. Practically everyone I knew as I grew up
was a PhD. By the time I had graduated high school, I had already achieved
an educational level beyond that of most college graduates. Although I
subsequently attended traditional college classes, I quickly became bored
by them, dropped out and pursued my own interests.

In the subsequent time, I have authored more than 20 books, including
several bestsellers. The books have been mostly on computers and the
Internet, although I am currently pursuing some titles in the field of
history. You may check my bona fides online at bn.com, borders.com, or
amazon.com; or in any local bookstore -- any decent bookstore has at least
four of my books in stock...
I am looking forward to hearing from you and to, hopefully, beginning my
doctoral work with your university.

David

At times in some  cases CU indeed waives the usual entrance requirements. In the particular case above we did so. Just give  it a try.
