Dr. Simone Beninati, Ph.D. , a
professor of cell biology at the University of Rome -
- and the director of a group of researchers at its cell biochemistry lab,
working on cancer, AIDS and other diseases related to an enzyme called
transglutaminase. He has a patent pending in the USA on a drug able to
prevent colon cancer and melanomas. Dr. Beninati is a member of many
scientific societies like the American Association for Cell Biology, New
York Academy of Science etc.
