I would like to thank you for the good news. I am honoured at being accepted
for the Honorary Doctorate Degrees and would like to thank all the people
involved in the assessment. Could you be so kind as to let me know what the
respective letter designations to be used after ones name are.

Dear Dr. B:
You have several options like Dr. F. B. or F.
B., Ph.D. or Dr. h.c. F. B.

Thank you for the fine Diploma of Appointment which arrived in good shape today.
On my business cards, exactly what is the correct appropriate way to list myself?

Indeed there is more than one correct form to use your title, it's up to you.
Again, the most common ways are:

Dr. John Doe (Rev. Dr. John Doe ...)
John Doe , Ph.D. (Rev. John Doe , Ph.D.)
Dr. h.c. John Doe (Rev. Dr. h.c. John Doe )

Is the address in Chile complete?

Yes it is. Chile does not use ZIP codes. Makes life easier.

Do you have an address in the US too?

We sure do: Cosmopolitan University, 2301 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach, FL 33139. We maintain many other addresses around the globe. However, for Honorary Doctorates please contact our office in Chile (Cosmopolitan University, Clasificador 6, Vina del Mar, Chile).

In September of 1999, I received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) Honorary Degree
from Cosmopolitan University, for founding the ... Research
Foundation and my funding of vital kidney and urological research projects
throughout the United States.

While I use the title of "Dr." in all my business correspondence, I kindly
ask that you email me the proper abbreviation to use at the end of my
signature to denote the "honorary medical doctorate." For your information,
I have used the following abbreviations, but I am not aware of the legal and
professionally accepted format.

D.T., hc.MD
D.T. , hon.c.MD.
D.T. , M. D., h. c.
D.T. , h. c. M. D.

... I respectfully request that you provide me
this information as soon as possible.

Dear Dr. D.: The correct form is: D. T. , M. D. h.c.

I only have one question. What types of researches need funding by your
college? I would like to know what I am supporting.

Primarily in Philosophy , Psychology and Sociology.

Do you offer a Ph.D.?

1. We offer a Ph.D. by research program.  Details are here: http://www.cosmoedu.net/researchdoctorate.html

2. HONORARY  Ph.D.  (Dr. honoris causa program)

I would love to receive one of these degrees, but how can I feel secure
that my money will not run away?

Because we are a legitimate enterprise, we are honest people, and you can always call us at +56 32 738 655. We would be stupid to cheat on anybody. Besides there is a whole concept behind this promotion: We love to make such an honor available for normal though successful people.

You're offering to give honorary doctorate degrees to anyone who so
desires. What about the field? Who chooses it? Please advise me, and
thank you.

NOT  EVERYBODY qualifies! We reserve the right to reject people, and we do so if your resume does not meet our standards. Apart from that YOU suggest the field. We trust that you know best what field you can represent according to your skills and achievements. Of course it has to be supported by your resume.

I'd like to know: is this completely legal?

YES, it is as legal as it can be! We have consulted with more than one good attorney.

Who signs the degree?

The President of CU, currently Dr. Wayne Gahan, and  Dr. Emma Hollis, the program director.

Is Cosmopolitan University a real university accredited somewhere?

Our University is not accredited, and does not wish to be. We stress again that we are NOT accredited, and we do not claim to be, we never have, and there is no need to be accredited!

A University does not have to be accredited to be a legitimate University. In the States accreditation is a voluntary process, done so by private, non governmental agencies. Some are shady, some phony, some do not meet certain standards, all of them are greedy.
When a school claims to be "accredited," that statement alone means nothing. The more important question is "Accredited by whom?" And "Who accredits the accreditors?"

Nevertheless Cosmopolitan University is now authorized and endorsed by the proper governmental authorities in seven countries!

I would like to know if I can get an honorary doctorate of Mathematics.

YES, you sure can.

Do I specify the Honorary Doctorate I wish to have with my CV

YES, please. We will SEE IF IT FITS YOUR CV,  it  often does.

What if someone wanted to confirm this qualification and contact your
office, could they do this.

YES, THEY CAN DO IT AT ANYTIME. The procedure is as follows: if somebody asks us, we will notify you and let you know who asked . We will ask for your permission to pass along the information on your agree accordingly. We will not give any information without your permission.

Why would I want an Honorary Doctorate in the first place?

We can think of many reasons to get this Honor but first and foremost this degree is to achieve recognition for experience gained in your given field of expertise.
It represents the recognition of all your hard work over the years, years of research and dedication to your subject that you had been a part of.
Normally one would be consigned to toiling in the dark until retirement.

To gain equal status for a job interview or to attain promotion . This unique opportunity levels the playing field.

For prestige, i.e. to gain higher acceptance.

For addition to letterheads &c., i.e. to enhance business in a particular field.

To get qualifications missed out on earlier in you education .

It increases your social and marketplace impact.

As a door opener to follow a particular interest or enterprise.

We could go on and on to list reasons to put "Dr." in front of (or behind) your name.

Hi..
What are the "pricings" of the honorary doctorate degrees ??
I am interested in the Zoology, Veterinary, Herpetology Fields...
I am 15 so I don't know if I can still get an honorary doctorate from you,
and whether of not I can get a price cut or something... ??
J. S.

Dear J.:
Thanks for your interest in our program.
However, our policies do not allow us to consider applications
