Dr. P. Dennis Newsom, C.I.S. has been consulted by the Mississippi State Crime Lab for standards related to the
building of their computer forensic laboratory, as well as numerous attorneys and investigative services across the
United States (particularly New Mexico, California, Mississippi, and Alaska).
He has been instrumental in nine (9) major fixes for the software tool Forensic ToolKit, developed by AccessData
Corporation ( www.accessdata.com ), and currently being utilized by several F.B.I. offices for tracking down the
terrorists in the attack on September 11, 2001.
Dr. Newsom also has developed a 148 page "Transition Manual" for the State of Minnesota, Department of
Education and Division of Corrections, which has been adopted by five (5) other States after being produced at a
National Conference.
He is also the past (for 2 1/2 years) senior editor of a national monthly news magazine called "The Lino Ledger."
He has had the great opportunity to interview such people as Hazel O'Leary, Secretary of Energy; Crown Prince
Henry Daniels; Dr. John I. Coe, (forensic pathologist for the Senate Select Committee on the Assassinations of
J.F.Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.); and, numerous sports figures such as Bob "the
Iceman" Colidge (middle weight boxer - top 10), Head Coach Denny Green (Vikings head football coach); Eddie
Miles, (Linebacker - Steelers).
