Doctoral Dissertation Format Specifications - the basics
A research doctorate dissertation is expected to reveal independent research and work resulting in a solution or a theoretical generalization of scientific problems, or a scientifically valid formulation of new problems which represent considerable scientific interest, in other words it must reveal new conclusions, a sheer literature compilation won't do it. The thesis is expected to be published in a major scientific journal and on CU pages.
Size: 100 - 200 (max) pages , print out version

The dissertation must have this structure:
1. Title Page
2. Abstract
3. Acknowledgements
4. Table of Contents
5. List of Tables (must be included if your thesis includes tables)
6. List of Figures/Maps (must be included if your thesis includes
tables)
7. Text
8. Bibliography, Selected Bibliography, References
9. Appendix
